Fantasy PGA Tour Playoffs - Single Match Play Event
Greetings ....
Many have asked: why not as little as one event for a playoff? And if just one event, could it be contested at match play? I have speculated quite a lot about a one-event playoff contested at match play. In fact, I have even constructed the playing format, and have worked out scenarios and results for years 2003 thru 2006. And I will be publishing scenarios and results for 2007 as well. Granted, this will be an intensely complex read for some. However, I hope all readers find this to be both entertaining and enlightening. Good Idea. It would be cool if there was 2 or 3 events, 1 is probably not enough to show who is playing well at the moment. But a match play event would be pretty interesting.

My thought is to scrap the whole concept and go to the Player's Championship. The Masters erred in adding the qualification of the Fed Ex participants qualifying. I hope the US Open does not give these players an exemption. They should go back to the Top 30 money winners and make the Fall Finish mean more.
