Overrated I won't even take a stab at. Everyone's World Golf Ranking is pretty accurate and that's how I consider golfers' "ratings."

Next big things:

Hunter Mahan (future top 10 in the world)
Camilo Villegas (ended up the FedEx Cup palyoffs with 3 top 10's in tournaments with the strongest field in the world)
Morgan Pressel (takes over the #1 in womens golf in the next 3 or 4 years)

I don't think Adam Scott fits in here. He's already a big thing.

Overrated: none. All tour pros are incredible players if we're talking about the PGA or the European Tour.

I intepret "overrated" as meaning public persona, media attention versus performance...maybe not the intended meaning of the threadmaster...

Overrated - Ernie Els and Adam Scott.

Next Big Thing -
Michelle Wie will win majors once she hits her early 20's, people forget how young she is and the pressure she is under. Her skills will blossom.

On the men's tour, I was impressed with Anthony Kim as an upcoming player. Andrew Buckle also impresses me with his game.

tyron deguise next big thing..most overrated..tiger woods i mean all he does is win every time..thats just not enough..overrated imho
