In my opinion, Jimenez is under rated in North America. He is always on leaderboards, and many of the times is clutch coming down the stretch. Besides one time I have seen him hook a shot in the water on 17 or 18, he is a strong finisher when in contention. For any Europeans who read this, is he a huge favourite in Europe? What do North Americans think of him?

He is a poular player over here and a bit of a character,known as the 'mechanic' for his love of his cars. Very solid player regularly in contention,and as far as i am concerned very underated. Watch his performance in the majors this year,he is never far away. Now if he would get that haircut sorted?

I think he is just one of those guys that fly under the radar...and how many North Americans would know many of the European Tour players....

and what's wrong with the hair!!!!... ...I think his hair and those big, ol' cigars of his are what makes him unique....

He is rumored to be the life of the party at the 19th hole, too....

That becomes evident at the ryder cup,also before the play of for this years open he was like a humming bird on acid,would have thought he was taking part.

Personally, I love the guy. He's a good player and full of character. I like seeing him win, but IMO, he's not in the same sect of players as Phil or Ernie or other top-10 WGR guys. I think his limited success in the states is due to the higher level of competition.
