I Love the way that Frank Compared himself to Ben Hogan justifying his ignoring the Media for the whole week (in his golf channel interview). In the Infamous words of Jonny Miller If Ben Hogan was around to day he would PUKE. Frank has to do a reality check the guy just went to Q-school and he has the audacity to compare himself to the Hawk what a pomous gluteus maximus.

Frank Lickliter can shoot -80 at Q-School. I'm not too excited about him having a card. In fact, none of those guys jump out at me as someone who'd have a successful PGA Tour season in '08. Most of them are guys around 40 years old who still play decent golf, but can't sit in the same room as the Tigers and Phils... or even the Davis Loves or Jose Maria Olazabals.

Only guy on the list with any star power is Alejandro Canizares a young gun from Spain who has played on the European tour the last year and a half. He is the son of a well know golfer from spain? and won his third time out on the European tour.

Thanks! He had somehow fallen off the list in post #1. I fixed it.

Re: PGA Q-school graduates

I'll be interested to see how Kenny Ferrie gets on over there, he seems to play well in the US, his form has been really poor since that US Open performance where he was named Superman by you guys!

I see Greg Owen missed out, I don't think he recovered from that collapse in the, oh what tournament was it now? You know the one where he 3 putted from about 5 feet on 17...

Son of Jose Maria Canizares. Yes, he looks an excellent prospect.

I can shoot -125 at St. Andrews in the British Open on Tiger Woods 2005

Is that Tommy Gainey from the Big Break? Two gloves? Good for him.

Yeah it was Tommy Two Gloves (I can already see I'm going to hate this guy just because I have to endure that nickname) He did seem like a odd duck in his interview after the PGA qualifying was over. I never watched the big break episodes but he seems to be a new Bunk mate for Boo Weekly. I wonder if he has ever had tape worms.

Bluennoser,
As a Golfer from the southern United States, I can say I have never had tape worms. But then again I am surprised you didn't end at least one of your sentences with, EH!
Well I am going out to play golf in a few hours, need to sleep, what are you doing tomorrow, oh yeah Watching it Snow.

I remember that pretty well. It was the '06 Bay Hill. Pampling won by a shot. If I remember right, Owen's 1st putt was actually only about 2 1/2' and then he nonchelantly missed the 2' putt coming back. Then he lipped out a birdie putt on 18 to miss out on a playoff with Pampling.

I never shot any score that low, maybe -85 was my best. I still remember double eagling a par-5 the first 3 days of the Players Championship. I think that's when I first realized that the game was ridiculous.
