Jason Bohn on Leaderboard

I dont think this will really affect you guys at all but i am just so proud and happy that Jason Bohn is in the Top 5 right now. He went to and played on my high school team here in small Mifflinburg, PA. Our Coach taught him about 15 years ago and his borther jim in the 80s. I hope he does well.

I am interested! Can you tell us how good he was then, compared to the rest of the team? Was he a stellar golfer then, or is he a late-bloomer?

Re: Jason Bohn on Leaderboard

He was a stellar golfer on the team, the entire team was! He made 4th at States and was at a +2 hdcp I believe back then, golfed rings around our coach sometimes. His Borther was actually better at the time than he was, but he chose a different carrer path than the stressful life of a touring pro. Jason Bohn turned pro while he was at college after sinking a $1,000,000 hole in one at a callaway amateur event. He has also shot a 59 at a canadian tour event back in '98 i believe. Too bad he isnt near the top so much anymore. Oh well, we (or at least me) are all still proud of him.

You should be! It must be a lot of fun to be able to watch a guy you grew up with play on the tour!

Re: Jason Bohn on Leaderboard

It is a lot of fun to watch him and he gives my coach tickets whenever he wants to see him play in an event which is a pretty sweet deal. I do admit though sometimes I am a little jealous though.
