Reminds me of watching Ali or Spitz in their prime. No one even close. Woods can't make a putt over 20 feet the whole tournament until the 72nd hole to win it. Mind over matter and the will to win is exemplified by this man. The next five years should be the best of all time, assuming no injuries or other unforeseen challenges crop up. We are watching history being made.
Yes, the best probably is to come. Nicklaus best years were from age 30-38, and over a span of 32 majors in those 8 years, never finished worse than 13th, only missed the top 10 twice, with 8 wins, 6 seconds, 5 thirds, and 26/32 top fives. At the age of 32, Tiger should just be entering his prime.
Vijay is on the decline, Ernie has been run over too many times by Tiger, and I have always felt Phil's collapse in the US Open would haunt him forever. Yes, they all have the talent to win more majors, but I for one would be suprised.
I think the next Tiger challengers will be younger than him: Adam Scott, Sean O'Hair, Hunter Mahan, Anthony Kim, German sensation Martin Kaymer, and the Irish teenager Rory McElroy.
False . Vijay can't putt to save his life . He is striking the ball great and hitting good shots , he can't putt , plain and simple . If Vijay could putt like Tiger he probably could have one atleast twice this season . And he still had 2 wins last year .
Right now, if your entering a tournament with Tiger, your pretty much playing for second place. I know that's not the right mind set, but lets face it; Tiger is so far ahead of the field. It's Tiger, then everyone else.

I'd say we are more in agreement than you realize. Singh's putting IS the basis for stating he is on the decline.
He's always been a great ball striker, but in my opinion he will never win another major. He'll win more tournaments and make a ton of cash, but I don't see him to be a threat in the four most important tournaments of the year.
I loved Tiger's reaction when the putt fell. It was a new move, the spiking of the hat. It reminded me of when he birdied the first playoff hole in the 2000 PGA Championship against Bob May, and ran to follow the ball to the hole. I like when he just comes up with something, spur of the moment, and shows how much he really wanted it.
I'm just glad, from a television-spectator's POV that it wasn't a boring run-away finish. Bart Bryant actually played his tail off and the rest of the guys who were close made some birdies coming home as well.
How 'bout Vijay's mid round follies on Saturday? That spat of golfing retardation made the difference for Vijay this week. He could easily have tied the -10 score and possibly beaten it if he didn't falter for those 4 holes in the middle of Saturday's round.
I was really impressed at how well VJ hung in there Saturday, he didn't give up after those bad holes, kept clawing and stayed in the tournament. He played amazing Sunday, the putts just didn't fall, how many 6 to 8 footers did he have for birdie? Seemed like every single hole, more makeable birdie putts than anyone I saw, they just didn't fall.
Also loved Bart Bryant's reaction when he heard the roar after Tiger made the putt. He basically rolled his eyes and chuckled, not surprised or disappointed at all. Cool guy.
I agree that VJ and Phil and Ernie are no longer the ones to watch to beat Tiger. Lot of young guys that can play although too many of them seem cookie cutter. Thats why I like Bubba, kind of a toned down version of Daly.
In 5 years or so the story is going to be, how long can Tiger hold off the young guns as he gets older.

Too many 6 or 8 footers to count . Bart Bryant is one heck of a player
