Flew to Orlando Monday afternoon, after the CA Championship at Doral to play in the Tavistock Cup (along with Daniel Chopra who also appeared in all 3 events over the last 2 weeks). Is that what you were referring to?
Tiger and Goosen actually were in contention in Monday morning's finish at Doral, then flew up to Orlando to join their teams for the "club team championship".

Re: zurich/Retief Goosen

Just heard the story on the Golf Channel; sorry, I was mistaken. It had to do with the new cut rule... several golfers, including Goose and Alex Cejka left the tournament thinking they weren't going to make that new cut mark thing they're working with (getting down to 70 golfers after Saturday's round). Goose headed home to Orlando, Cejka to Las Vegas. However, due to the inclement weather on Saturday and most of the round being rained out, they did away with that cut rule because they didn't want to wait for the late round Saturday guys to finish and re-pair them; they were going to send out the same Round 4 pairings as round 3 pairings for the sake of getting finished on Sunday (which is part of the reason Romero was in the clubhouse for 3 hours waiting for the finish..). To keep from being WD'ed and getting no FedEx points they returned to play their final rounds. In fact, Cejka got to Vegas, turned on the cell phone and realized he was still in. He had 3 minutes to decide what to do, so he turned around boarded another plane back this way, got as far as Houston (nothing flies direct from New Orleans to Vegas...), got off the plane, rented a car and drove the 6 hours from Houston International to New Orleans (thank you, Red Bull). Due to the rapid turnaround, he had nothing but the clothes on his back. No sticks, no nothing. Went to the pro shop at the course, bought clothes in the pro shop, used RENTAL clubs and shot his best round of the week, a one under 71... these guys really are good...
