Oliver Fisher Comes Close

Olly fisher who has lessons at a local club came close this weekend on the European Tour to his first win! Having met him and aspired to be like him, knowing Chris his coach for 3 years from a previous golf club, it was good to see him nearly go all the way.

I'm hoping and many think he's the next Tiger. There is a long way to go and his he needs experience, which is inevitably why he didn't win today. You have to learn to loose before you win

Anyway, this picture is from last week after he signed my headcover.

Re: Oliver Fisher Comes Close

Yes he was good to watch, he won at quite a few levels like u15 u17 etc. So definatly one for the future!

I was supprised he didnt win, when he got back to -17 and lavet/westwood still at -14 i thought he had it, but Lavet played well and Fisher lost it a bit, but the mental toughness to grind out results and to play the right shot (Hitting an Iron 27x into water) will come with time!
