Exclamation 2008 Shell Houston Open

Greetings ....

Some Down Under Guy is ahead, and he's being quite "defensive" about it!

Re: 2008 Shell Houston Open

lol wow, thats all i can say. i like adam scott, he's a great player and he was SUPPOSED to be the one that would contend tiger for the number 1 spot. but every tourney he is in, he gets the lead then blows it. but i see scott making a comeback, i mean still 2 rounds to go

He withdrew after 36 holes (63-76, T19th).

I think most pros feel really sick after missing 8 fairways, taking 32 putts, and posting 5 bogeys and a double.

Just kidding...I am a huge Scott fan, and I think he is as pure a ball striker as there is on any tour. Painful to watch the man putt, but he is so consistent and knocks it so close, he can get away with his mediocrity with the flat stick.

Lots of pros were labeled chokers early on: Ben Hogan, Tom Watson, Nick "Foldo", and most recently, Ms. Ochoa. Don't be suprised if Scott one day gets it all figured out and becomes a multiple major winner. He's got the talent, no doubt.
