I am sure he is trying his hardest, but I think he seems defeated in his golf game, and for that reason does not compete as much. I think he has lost so many times in key points and probably does not have the committment to reach his past level of success, but he seems "defeated" mentally. The interviews on sunday kinda went that way from my standpoint.
It's a shame, because I think Chris Evert sees it as well and seems to want him to get back into the game a little more.
I know he has hundreds of millions of dollars, but competition really drives these great players. I am sure he feels great with his other businesses, but it would be nice to see him play like this past week more.
I thought it was unusual that he is playing since he had a recent interview in a golf magazine that he was so glad to pursue other endeavors. That Macgregor contract must have a lot to do with it.
I would have preferred to see less color in their irons, in their current line.
Well, if he is "defeated" mentally, there is nobody better to be engaged to than Chris Evert. Man, was she ever a cold-blooded killer on the court. I hope that he plays more, he adds a lot to that tour. Oak Hill looked supremely hard.
