Got to say that Tiger's performance, with severe injury, ranks right up there with Hogan. You never heard him complain or even disclose the magnitude of the injury--he just said it was sore but that he was ready to go. What an incredible champion!! What an incredible event. It would not be surprising if Hollywood makes a movie about it; but suspect it won't measure up to the book! What an Open.

I'd rank it close to Hogan. Ben was nearly killed and sufferred severe injuries to both his legs. That restricted him to just a few tournaments outside the majors, and he had to forego the PGA Championship because of the two a day match play format. His legs just couldn't handle it. Back to your central point, Tiger put on a great show that we may never see the likes of again.

hogan was a little more hurt then tiger so really won't rank the 2 together but it was a very impressive proformance but agree with a lot of experts - still not up there with a 15 stroke lead her carried in his other open!
