Re: British Open

Yeah when I was growing up it was Greg Norman I would idolize.
Good job he isn't wearing one of his famous hats today, or it would be half way to Glasgow by now.

I see Adam Scot is going well, as is Ross Fisher & Garcia

Re: British Open

Well I actually grew up with the end of Jacklin, all of Faldo & Norman... Daly was really after my youth

As for todays Scoring it looks like anything up to +6 is still being considered a reasonable score for the day.

Not a bad call after round 1 . Top round also by the old master - go The Shark.

Depends on the weather. If it stays rough, rocco could be in it Sunday. Norman, Watson, etc, well, being in their age group, this is as much an endurance contest as anything, and they'll probably run out of gas come Sat. & Sun., if not sooner. Would love to see Boo and rocco in it at the end, but I just have a feeling about Allenby. Who knows? Kim is brimming with confidence!

Can't argue with that. He's got to be on the short list.

Re: British Open

Leading into R2 I can't go past Furyk & McDowall. Another low 70's round from The Shark would be fantastic .

Re: British Open

With the bad weather, its an open tournament. Not quite sure if the favorites will prevail.

Rocco nearly beat Tiger not long ago so I can see him carrying on as he is & doing well...

Its all looking interesting, just settling down to watch the second days play on the BeeB (BBC2)
