Did anyone getthe impression the Kim packed it in on the last few holes of the tournament. Even though he still had a shot to win (albeit a long shot) I thought he totally lost focus. One thing about Tiger (and I'm NOT a Tiger fan) is that he will not let up until it's over. If Kim has any notion of being like Tiger (his idol) he's got to learn to grind till the end.
Yes, I noticed him hanging his head and walking in the middle of his shots, especially the approaches. Gotta remember he's coming off a pretty good stretch of golf...everyone plays out after a while, even Tiger.

No doubt and I'm not taking anything away from him...he was in the hunt at the British, too...I have been very impressed by his golf and it struck me as odd and he cost himself a lot of money.

I think being in the hunt is particularly draining but, still, I think you're right that he was mailing it in a bit at the end...he's certainly got skills and the eye of the tiger but if he's going to contend with the real Tiger then he's going to have to learn to play each shot as if it's the shot that will win him the tournament...fit enough of those shots in four consecutive rounds and he will. Of course, he's already won twice this year so he's obviously got what it takes to win but he's got room to grow if he's gonna be cream of the crop...in majors, the cream comes to the top.
