Well when it was all on the line one hole he looked brillant, and on the final looked like me or any other of the hackers in my group. Playing excellent golf, Sergio lasted to the last playoff hole just to choke again, has this become his MO, I mean he won the players but just at the expense of Goydos choking. At least this time he didn't whine of slap away Singhs hand like he did Padraigs. I can't ever remember a pro stinking it up as bad as he does, once things don't go his way. Was an excellent hole for Singh though he owns that par 5 17, both in regulation and sudden death he played it as well as anyone could.

I prefer to think of it as "He's on the cusp of winning".

Yup he choked again.. I really can't stand watching him play - everyshot he has a ****** off look on his face - even with Phil is choking he atleast pushes forward Serigo looks like he wants his mommy to come out to whipe his butt..

I have cheered for Sergio for years, really wanting him to be a young face who could hang with the big dogs. Last year at the open when he blamed everything but himself for his loss, and whined, I thought okay he is young and just upset let it go. But then this year at the PGA when he basically slapped Padraigs hand away I got mad. But come on if you put a little pressure on him he folds like a lawn chair. I am just wondering how he can compete at this level and have zero mental toughness while every commentator out there acts like he is a god. So in my opinion he is the best Choke Artist of his generation.

And as far as overcooking it a bit, his second shot was even worse, trying to hook a shot from that hardpan lie, who does he think he is TW?

Look at VJ and Sergio. Notice a little difference in age and experience? And how old was Mark O'Meara wheb he won his first major (39). Sergio still has room to grow and he should be a top player for many years to come.
