For anyone interested, here's a link to the official site of The Open championship:

Has lots of interesting things, including a guide to Royal Troon, Open history, player profiles, breaking news, leaderboard, and more.

Another site of possible interest is the BBC's home page for golf:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/golf/default.stm
They're already running Open-related stories.

In a somewhat lighter vein (also British), there's the Golf365 site:
http://www.golf365.com/

I know there are many sites that will provide good coverage. Just thought I'd mention these. Enjoy!
