Nationwide tour

Does anyone get as much enjoyment watching the Nationwide tour as I do. I almost like it more than the PGA tour and way more than the European. I like watching the up and comers. What do you think?

I agree! I'm watching right now, pulling for Kevin Stadler. Who are you pulling for?

Stadler for sure

I am stoked that he won. I watched all the playoff. He is one win from being promoted, but almost assuredly will be in the top 20 on the money list which will get him there too. He just has such a great attitude.

Yeah I love watching the nationwide. I like seeing who the up and coming star is. It also seems a lil more important than the pga to meeh because those guys have there future of being on the pga on the line. I even plan to play on it when i finish college

You can bet proud Dad Stadler is probably refraining from the beer chug...given his recent arrest for drinking and driving

What I really like about the Nationwide tour is that it is televised on the golf channel in the mornings. I don't know about the rest of you, but for me out in the Seattle area we don't get most PGA events until 4-6 P.M. This is for the Thursday/Friday rounds. I work graveyard shift and I really enjoy sitting down having something to eat and watching live golf.

IIRC, it happened just a few days before the Farmers Charity. I know he had to withdraw from it or wasn't able to make it.

What I like about the nationwide

I think one of the things I like about the Nationwide is that those guys are closer to a normal golfer. Not that I feel I am even close to them because I am not, but they make more mistakes than on the PGA and it makes the game more realistic to me. The guys that we see on the PGA are so unbelievably good, that they hardly make mistakes. Kind of like why I like College basketball over NBA Basketball.

Last month Craig Stadler was traveling from a Champions Tour event in Ada Michigan (Farmer's Charity Classic) to Dearborn MI (site of this past weeks Senior Championship) and was arrested for driving under the influence. He plead Guilty to Driving Under the Influence and was fined.
