Re: Daly in Ireland

How is the cut determined in tournaments? Are there 1st day cuts? Are the cuts determined by # of players or by scores? i.e. day 1 top 75 continue, day 2 top 50 etc..
Also do they keep moving at the turn or do they take a short break?

Re: Daly in Ireland

From Wikipedia on the PGA TOUR.
"In late February, the Policy Board announced a revised cut policy, effective beginning with the Honda Classic. The new policy calls for 36-hole cut to the low 70 professionals and ties and, if that cut results in more than 78 players, a second 54-hole cut to the low 70 professionals and ties."

Re: Daly in Ireland

Big John!! Tied for 20th at four under.. nice.

Being 5 shots back, he can't be that far behind.

Think about TPC Sawgrass where Alex lost his lead.
