I like the crowd. I don't think it's a bad thing to say get in the hole after they hit. I think it gets popularity when people do it.

That it does. I yell it at school sometimes, and it gets other people saying it as well. It all feeds back to golf.

Personally, I don't mind the enthusiasm, though I do think it gets out of hand at times. It seems Americans require more and more stimulation...more than the game itself can supply. So, I guess I can live with that. It's just that I get tired of hearing the same ol' drunken hackneyed phrases...a little originality would be refreshing. You know, some fresh, clean golf slang.

Well I have read the responses with interest. I am not against noise at golf tournaments but surely spectators can be a bit more educated in there comments.
