Am I the only one watching the Bob Hope Classic? Now that the flood waters have receded, there's a bunch of good golf going on there. And it's nice to see some folks from NW Florida doing well: Bubba Watson, J. P. Hayes, Heath Slocum, Joe Durant and Boo Weekly. Don't know about this thing Bubba has for Ellen, though.

Missed it. Whenever I got to the tele, all that was on was the Champions Tour. Watson and the rookie, Couples, were playin' some fine golf!

Any highlights from the Hope Classic?

Local boy Bubba Watson (local to Northwest Florida) finishes in a tie for second. He's stil looking for his first win on tour. I "Hope-d" it would be here.

My friend saw Bubba play at the Sony this year. I didn't make the tourney until Sunday, and by then Bubba was out. I was bummed.

My friend said he was smokin' his drives, and since I haven't been to a long drive comp. before, I thought he'd be great to see, too.

I also caught an article on him in Golf Digest last year and I liked what he had to say about the way he plays shots....
