hawaii. I wear golf shoes when I play for a few reasons, One is that I have FOUR pairs of golf shoes, so I might as well wear them. I use the all terrein shoe for practice because some of the driving ranges I use have those green mats, and my golf shoes can get caught up in the mat and make my left knee hurt on full swings. The golf shoes grip TOO MUCH, and don't allow my left foot to twist a little in my follow thru causing pain in my knee. On grass it's not a problem, so I wear my golf shoes which I paid for and might as well wear. Don't know if the shoes I got at Costco are still available but they are the FILA Ascent Trail II shoes, item # 210897.
