They're actually Ecco Street Premiere Golf shoes , same ones Ryan Moore's been wearing. I imagine they're more comfortable to walk in though not sure how the traction is in wet conditions.

I have a few spikeless Golf shoes. I find no eveidence that they provide less traction, wet or dry. They are also comfortable to walk and actually much less slippery on wet stones path ways.

Why the heck am I wearing spikes
I guess I shouldn't be so upset when my cousins go out in sandals/slippers/barefeet!

I wonder that myself. I have (2) Adidas Z-traxion shoes, one with spikes and one without. Only concern might be that Spikes can be replaced but Spikeless shoes will eventually worn out and must be thrown away. Funny part is I have to change spikes so often but the spikeless shoes doesn't seem to wear out. I am sure the shoes will be too old to use before spikeless bottom wears out. I vote for spikeless and that'll save my wrist from having to remove stubborn spikes too worn out to have holes for the wrenches.
I have two pairs of All Terrain shoes the I wear when I practice. They have dozens of small NOBS on the soles and they work very well. Extremely comfortable and only cost my $28 a pair at Costco. If anyone is interested in the name and model, let me know and I'll look it up for you.

Thanks for the info. about the AT shoes.
Why do you use spikes when you are not practicing?
I swear I saw him yesterday in something close to tennis shoes, black ones with yellow soles.
Is this a recent development?
Are there advantages to going spikeless
What he is wearing is ECCO golf shoes from their new line called "Golf Street", a trend setting hybrid sport-casual shoe designed specifically for wear both on and off the course.
