What happened to the "monster" this course was supposed to be? I know there's no wind but unless conditions are very different today, or there's a major collapse by the leaders, the winner will be 15-18 under par. Ho Hum, just another Tour stop score.

It's obvious that length isn't that big of a factor to the pros anymore. (Justin Leonard and 7400 yards?) I'm curious to know the field's greens in regulation stats and how they compare to the other 3 Majors this year. I have to chuckle when the announcers keep reminding us there's over 1000 bunkers. Only a handful are in play for these guys and I've seen very very few green side bunker shots in the 3 days I've watched. This course would probably be the most visually intimidating and difficult course any of us will ever play, but in my opinion the degree of difficulty for the pros has been greatly over-hyped.
I don't look for anyone more than 4 strokes back to be a factor today. The way VJ Singh is striking the ball, unless his putter deserts him, he'll be a two time Wannamaker Trophy winner. I'm still pulling for Ernie & Phil though!
