my pro @ the PGA
as some of you know, i went to the PGA last week at WS to follow my local club pro who qualified by finishing third at the CPC in july. his name is chip sullivan
he is an aweosme player and actually spent a year on tour back in 1997. his best finish that year was 37th place and he lost his card following the season. well, needless to say he improved on that dramatically at WS. he finished tied for 31st and became the first club pro in 34 years to finish under par for the week. he was -1 and it was an awesome time for all of us.

That's an awsome finish for a club pro, considering his regular job probably doesn't allow enough time to get his game back to where it was in the 90's. Is he going to treat his fans to a spell at the 19th hole now? He should be able to give you guys some insight on what it is like to play golf in a tournament like that. Pick his brain and go practice!

well.....even when he made the tour back in 1997 he was a full time club-pro. that just shows you the skills he has. he was a good golfer in college in the 80's at ole miss and beat guys like daly (arkansas) and toms (lsu) regularly.
he is 38 now but the skills are there.
