Think we will see Tiger back to his winning ways this week at the Deustche Bank?
He's looking pretty good for it after opening rounds of 65 and 68.
his driving accuracy seems to be on the up too, %64 on the first day. a poor %43 however on day 2, and its reflected by his lower score! seems to be the key to his success is hitting fairways!

Tiger is definitely in a good position to win but look who's in the lead at one stroke ahead of Tiger. Vijay. It should definitely be an interesting weekend. Hopefully we'll see these two go neck and neck for the tournament title and #1 ranking.
Another nice name to see on the leaderboard is David Duval. He's currently at -1 with a few holes left to play. If he manages to make par the rest of the way in, he'll actually make the cut.
Duval bogeyed the 16th hole so he is off the cut line right now, here's hoping for a birdie coming in.
As for Vijay, as much as I hate him, he is a one-man wrecking crew right now. Shots going in from everywhere, hitting the ball as well as you possibly can. I am a huge fan of Tiger's but he has no shot this weekend. None. Maybe if Vijay falls and breaks his leg tonight then, but otherwise no.
Well, Vijay bogeys 17, now one ahead. I would love to eat crow on that "Tiger has no chance" prediction a minute ago, but I still don't think it will happen.
Well, I can't see how you can say Tiger has no shot when he's only 2 shots back and in a tie for second place. I wonder what the pairings will be. Maybe it'll be Tiger and Vijay tomorrow? As for Duval, he ended at even par in a tie for 59th so he made the cut. Duval birdied the par 5 18th hole to get to one under for the day and even par for the tournament.
Well, I've been predicting the same thing, all year, about Tiger's attempts at winning...and I've been spot on all year, so I think I'll stay the course:
Tiger's driving and distance-control, with his irons...in addition to his up-and-down short game, has been far too erratic to allow him to avoid mistakes and/or missed opportunities at actually winning any event.
Tiger seems to play well enough to contend for a title. Even as late as the back nine, on Sundays. But he almost invariably makes a critical mistake at the most inopportune time. I suspect the same will hold true for this week.
