David Duval playing well so far at Glen Abbey

As of now, David Duval is at -2 for his round, tied for the lead early in the first round at the Bell Canadian Open. He was in first at -3 thru 8 but double bogeyed the 9th to fall to -1, then got a shot back at 10. Well, I guess now he is one back but a solid start so far for DD. Hopefully he keeps it going.

Great to see him play well again. Hopefully he can keep it up. I just saw a glimpse of his bag on television and it looked like he had a Ping G2 driver headcover. Maybe he's not playing the Ignite or did I get a glimpse of someone else's caddy by Duval?

He wears the wraparounds to protect his eyes from pollen and other irritants. Before I started wearing glasses, my eyes would water like I was crying just from the air hitting them as I walked along. Sensitive eyes can be very distracting, so I understand his need to protect them.

I agree that they look wierd, but Annika wears something similar, so they must do the job.

yeah, and when he's got the shades on he can blame his lack of vision for his bad shots.

You wouldn't be trying to upset Duval fans with a comment like that, would you?

The shades enhance his vision, not distort it. Enough said.
