Hopefully he can get a good round in today, they better show Weir alot and give him coverage cause i noticed alot when he is 1 or 2 shots back that he hardly gets showed which gets me pretty mad.

I'd love to see Mike win it, too. Imagine the crowd excitement (no Canadian has won the Canadian Open since Pat Fletcher, 50 years ago); that would be great fun to watch. And of course Weir missed the cut at Glen Abbey only 5 years ago. The hard work he's put in on his game (e.g., developing a higher trajectory) is really paying off. Lotsa golf left. We'll have to see....

Mike is doing well after five holes although he made less than a stellar putt on five. Could have been a birdie but was a par.
