Could someone kindly explain how the scoring system and how each type of game...(4 ball....) work out?

Thanks!

Each of the first two days consist of 2 Four-Ball and 2 Foursome Matches. The third day is 12 Singles Matches.

Fourball is two man teams better ball.

Foursomes is two man teams in alternate shot.

Singles matches are player vs. player match-play.

Donald can make it 4-0. It will never be worse than 3,5-0,5

[quote=Gaz]anyone else notice leaguegolf's absence from posting? QUOTE]

I'm not hiding! I posted earlier, and I'll be back sometime after the end of today's matches. There's a lot of golf to play...and if I want to watch any of it on the weekend, I've got much to get done. I'd rather use my available time to sneak peek's at the matches instead of posting on the running commentary here. It's good you guys are all on top of things and I'll catch up with all the posts as soon as I can.

Did somebody steal all the US Flags? I haven't seen one all day!

Great, just when a US pairing finally takes the lead in a match, USA loses its feed, and I'm left looking at a blue screen.

Wrong, it's my cable company!!!!!!!!

It's starting to look like Sutton's pairing of Tiger and Phil together will be the biggest captain blunder in recent Ryder Cup history. And why is Davis Love playing this afternoon? Surely Chris Riley would have been more use?

It's great to watch the Europeans play as a team. They really enjoy this kind of competition.

It's too bad the US team dosent play as a team, they might have done better today. I watched Tiger and Phil on the first tee this morning and they werent even standing together during the introductions. They left one ahead of each other and never really talked. After almost every shot, you would see only the one hitting the ball. When the Europeans hit, you would see the other guy coming in to the picture with a high five or knuckle tap. Anyone else notice these things.
