Yep I noticed. It's really important to gel as a team when playing fourball and foursomes. If you get on with your teammate you can raise your own game, and if you celebrate and look happy it will get on your opponent's nerves.

Sorry about not being here to take a little of what I gave out. I had other commitments until now. Don't worry, I'll be here most of the day tomorrow.

OK...who were those guys in the blue shirts out there today? Those bums couldn't have been my team! Did any American, other than Chris DiMarco even show up? The Euros were unconscious putting in the early matches but they absolutely killed us with greens in regulation. (If anyone has a link to today's stats I would appreciate it if you'd post it. Thanks)

I bet Callaway wishes they would have waited another week to put their metal woods in Phil's bag! Did he ever hit Driver today? I saw a lot of messed up 3 woods. Nice positioning 3 wood shot on #18 there Mr. Mickelson! My 9 year old could've...no, he would've hit a better shot on #18. How could a pro, with that much talent, hit a shot that bad, in that situation? That's worse than embarrassing, it's humiliating.
I'm not singling out Mickelson,(though he deserves it) my whole team stunk up the place today.

Well done my Euro friends! Your team did you, and themselves, proud today.
If we don't turn the tables tomorrow, Sunday will be a moot point. You have us by the throat but we're not finished yet. Tomorrow is another day and I will be here...I won't be hiding I look forward to the competition tomorrow. I just hope my team shows up!

I didn't think Tiger even looked comfortable at the Opening Ceremony!
Having played in several Best Ball Tournaments, I can see how Tiger had to be frustrated. Just when Tiger's game starts coming around, his partner blows up!
Been there......not fun......Especially on that level!
I remember how nervous I would get playing Championsip day,,,,I can't even imagine what Ryder Cup pressure would be like. Doubt if I could even take the club back!

As far as the Euros go,,,,,I have a whole new respect for them since watching the European tour on the GC....I have to say I wasn't surprised at their level of play, just surprised that the US did sooooooooo poorly!

All Monty needed was a cape and top hat! He was center stage and knew it....The Grand Ol Man of the Ryder Cup! He was quite the showman and I really enjoyed watching him.

Don't get me wrong....I cheered the US for any little crumb that was thrown their way, but the Euros just flat out out-payed (and maybe outwitted) the US. Survivor has nothing on the 35th Ryder Cup Matches.

Did you get tired enough of the "on paper" reference? And constant harping on Tiger's game and life? Oh, PLEASE! Now I guess the harping will shift to Phil....At this level these guys know what they're doing. It's their timing I question.

The only thing is, I still would want a close repeat to make sunday safe. If the US managed a 4-4 or a 5-3 today, Id still give them a good chance on sunday. Im hoping for a 5-3 or better for Europe, in which case id consider things safe, anything less and it just aint!
