Mickelson benched
Not very surprising given his wayward driving today. Anyway here are the match-ups:

8:10 a.m. - Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood, Europe, vs. Jay Haas and Chris DiMarco, United States.

8:25 a.m. - Darren Clarke and Ian Poulter, Europe, vs. Tiger Woods and Chris Riley, United States.

8:40 a.m. - Paul Casey and David Howell, Europe, vs. Jim Furyk and Chad Campbell, United States.

8:55 a.m. - Colin Montgomerie and Padraig Harrington, Europe, vs. Stewart Cink and Davis Love III, United States.

Since I wasn't too far off with my predictions yesterday, I'm gonna continue with them and predict wins for Europe in matches 1 and 4, a win for USA in match 2 and a draw in match 3.

It's really too bad. I haven't heard any of the fallout from this and I didn't get to watch the press conference after but I wonder if people will point to his equipment change. Obviously, it's not the woods that's hitting those bad drives but maybe he just doesn't have the confidence in them right now?

I know I started to wonder about that. Started wondering right after I picked the USA to win and for Phil to be my Group A player.
