2004 Overton Tradition scramble winner.....

it's ME! Well, me and my team. We carded a 62 from the tips. I love scrambles. Everyone had a shot that we wound up playing AND we beat a lot of really good teams. Just had to gloat a little. Resume your normal viewing.

Well, a gif cert. for 2 at a swanky restaurant amd, more importantly, bragging rights for the next year. We knew pretty much everybody from playing the course as much as we do, so it was a good time no matter what. I did come in 3rd on the longest drive, but the win was the sweetest. It made up for the 3 viloent lip-outs I had for an eagle and 2 birds from long range. Well, I really got some respect from my wife who never really was sure if I could play the game or not.

Those "bragging rights" will last a lot longer than the gift certificate! "Defending Champion" always sounds good on the tee when next year's tournament comes around.
