I wrote something about Tiger today. Basically: has he lied to us repeatedly in the past? If he's hurt, why do some people want to say "He's a liar and a whiner. Fly commercial, Tiger!"?
If he had a history of lying or making stupid claims or decisions (cough, ahem, Mickelson, ahem), then sure. But has Tiger ever lied? He speaks his mind honestly, no?
I might be the biggest tiger fan on the board..sooo i cant be objective :) - i didn't get to watch today (stuck at the office) but was it really obvious that he was playing in pain? bleh, i've just started working out, and my arms and body are sore, and i'm supposed to be playing this weekend..so I'm interested to see how i do..oh well :)

I am watching and, yes, it is extremely obvious he is hurting - mostly on iron shots, when hitting down on the ball. No cursing today, but lots of yelps, wincing, and an occasional drop to the knees. Very abbreviated follow thru and often a step forward. I tried playing thru a back and shoulder injury this spring and he has my sympathy. It HURTS!
leaguegolf, I believe donna was referring to when Tiger was bent over in pain after one of his tee shots, and Faldo said something about "winning an Emmy," implying that Tiger was acting or faking and that he wasn't really injured. Anyone watching today could tell that it wasn't faking, or if it was, he really SHOULD win an Emmy.
is tiger playing with a Grafalloy shaft on his driver?...looks pretty blue
When Tiger first put graphite in his driver, it might have been the Graffaloy Blue. I know David Duval had it in his Ignite. Tiger doesn't have it anymore, though. He now uses a Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana shaft. Looks blue, too.
On that 'Battle at the Bridges' thing, on the meter it said 131 on one of them and I'm pretty sure 136 another time, although who knows how accurate that thing really was, but he ended up hitting the shortest tee shot on both I think since he hit one slice and another cut shot.
IACAS; Read your article and agree wholeheartedly. BTW, did you hear Mr. Faldo's Emmy comment. I thought that was more than unnecessary!
I did hear Faldo's comment, and I was tempted to make a big deal out of it, but I try to give the benefit of the doubt to people. Faldo has played through pain as well, and he's British, so perhaps we'll chalk it up to his sense of humor.

Maybe you already know this but if you dont, Make sure you eat protein RIGHT after you work out, then one-2 hours after that. It helps to repair muscle faster and also helps you not loose the benefits of the workout. By repairing the muscles quicker you will loose the soreness faster and your muscles will relax quicker. Eat protein all the time between now and then. You can work out all you want but if you dont eat right you will not see the work you put into the workout.
