Tiger and Elin wed!

As and from the 5th of October, Elin Nordegren is now Mrs. Tiger Woods!

I say congradulations to the pair, and wish them all the best in married life!

I did see a funny thing in a British newspaper, which went something like this:

2000 - Tiger was single, 12 wins.
2001 - Meets Elin, 8 wins
2002 - Moves in with Elin, 7 wins
2003 - Gets engaged to Elin, 5 wins
2004 - Gets married to Elin, 1 win

i found that quite funny, but in all seriousness, i hope Tiger can have a better year next year and i wish him and Elin all the best!

Is winning 8-12 times a year considered normal?

LOL, that is pretty funny. I wonder what the stat will be after Tiger and Elin have kids. I think there was some talk about Tiger being done for the year. If this is true, hopefully, he can enjoy his time off and come back rejuvenated next year.

Well, hopefully Tiger can settle down and get back to what he used to do best: winning. Also, I heard that his dad is battling cancer again, and that it was really weighing on his mind. Of course, his swing is out of wack, but that is a different story...

Isn't Elin a bombshell? Gosh, with her, why even play golf. No wonder he looks so tired these days.

A woman can make demands on one's time and attention that can work to the detriment of one's career. And a beautiful woman can do that more easily and thoroughly than a plain one.

I'm not a big Tiger fan, but I do hope he and his wife enjoy a long and happy life together. As far as marriage ruining his golf - I hate to sound heretical but - there are other things in life besides golf, aren't there? I'm thinking!

Well congrats to Tiger for getting married. It will be quite interesting to see how his game is affected. In Johnny Miller's book he said that once Tiger gets married and then has children his game will go down hill. That seems evident with this years performance. That is also why I believe Jack is still the best golfer ever on the PGA tour. Even during his prime he had already a family and still managed to win the most majors and have the second most wins. I believe Tiger won't catch his 18

Let's see here... He's über-rich, finishes in the top 10 13 out of 16 times, marries an über-hot Nordic bunny, and is probably the most easily recognizable figure in the game in his generation. He has all of the makings of a blissfully happy life. Luckily, it's up to him how he manages the above to make it happen.

Hmm...You know what? I'd take all those benefits in a heartbeat, even if I did have the press breathing down my neck!
BTW, she is from Sweden.

It wasn't intended to be mean spirited, just providing information. If it was mean spirited, there would have been a smart aleck comment.

***Edited to fix naughty language, sorry about that.
