Robert Gamez,
Robert Allenby,
Never been a big Jack Nicklaus fan either
Fuzzy Zoeller.
Used to dislike Hale Irwin, now I like him.
TA III does have an odd way about him, but he's alright.
Never liked Greg Norman when he was an active player, he's cool with me now though.

And my all-time winner is...

Peter Jacobson, all around lame-o. Hey Peter, your jokes and keechy sense of humor aren't funny!

Vijay is the man!

While I respect his accomplishments and recognize that NO ONE in the history of the TOUR has worked as hard as he does, I can't stand him...VJ Singh. Don't really care for Tiger either because he acts like a spoiled brat.

Why I don't like VJ...

1. His attitude toward the volunteer staff and professional staff that make the events happen.
2. His actions toward some of the other players on the TOUR.
3. His lack of personality.
4. (I just can't drop it) His comment when he admitted to cheating at the Indonesian Open that "I had my family to feed and what did you expect me to do, step down to a club professional position?"

All but #3, I have first-hand knowledge of.

my runner up to Vijay would be Davis Love III....he seems so pained out there. I know everyone talks about his family and I know he's been through some tough personal issues, but he just kind of annoys me for no particular reason. A lot like Vijay--he shows very little emotion. OK, I get it, you're a 'Steady-Eddie' but would it kill you to act excited a little?

I've never heard of Spencer Levin and I don't like him already as per what has been discussed of him here.........

Don't like Vijay at all - for all the reasons given earlier in this thread and because he just rubs me the wrong way for some reason. After watching him with Cass at the father-son thingee, I really tried to change my attitude because it was the loosest and friendliest I have ever seen him......but it didn't last!

And DLIII reminds me of the whiney kid in grade school who needed his nose wiped. You know, the one the kids went out of their way to avoid?

Sergio has plucked my last nerve on numerous occasions! Grow up, sonny!

Although I don't dislike him, I fail to see the attraction people have for Daly. What a waste of talent and opportunity, in my opinion.

I have never liked Vijay since the whole Annika playing at the Colonial fiasco. Interesting read:

Peter Jacobsen gets on my nerves! Ughh, can't stand him.

Vijay is just annoying. All he does is practice, practice, practice all day long, and he barely shows any emotion or personality on the course, it's like he's just a robot, standing there swinging his club.

Golf was not intended to be a sport where you must stand there concentrating the entire time without saying one word. It's a social sport.

drstroud, IMO the interchange with Dean Wilson says it all about this guy! Dean was drawn as Annika's playing partner, handled himself beautifully whatever he actually thought about the circus he was subjected to, and months later Vijay is still carrying a grudge? What a class A jerk!!!!

Fuzzy Zoeller...what is there to say. He is a man who does not know when to shut his mouth. He just keeps going and going like it was breathing. He played at the Tylonal Par 3 Shoot Out and was shut out and he was talking trash the whole time with the other guys. I was glad that he lost all his sponsors when he made the comments about Tiger Woods and the Masters dinner. I think Earl Woods got the last laugh when he said in an interview for Golf Digest, "Contrary to what Fuzzy Zoeller says, food has to look good and taste good for it to be good food, collar greens do neither".

I know why everyone dislikes VJ - his attitude, his demeanor, no exicitements but you gotta understand noone in PGA - pros or staffs - gave him much love neither Media guys. I had a chance to watch VJ during Buick Open ( Westchester country club ) and other pros. VJ was the real nice guy showing this and that and how to do sand shots to Amateuers - was really being nice to them. I don't want to bad mouth passed away hero - but Payne was not intesrested in talking or socializing with amateurs. He was just * that he had to do pro-am. Seve was just a guy. Ben crenshaw is a real nice guy all around to everyone offering putting tips. Fred Couples is a very popular and down to earth but he doesn't go beyond his duty calls - unlike Ben or VJ. Most of other guys do minimum to be nice to AM guys but most stuck-up one is DL III - he even refused to shake hands with fellow pro from Korea ( KJ Choi ) when he was a rookie..

So Davis Love III is my #1 choice of who the * he thinks he is..

Hmm...sounds a little fishy. BTW scratch, I agree with you the Davis Love III is stuck up. But then again, a lot of pros are, not to mention a ton of the rest of the world!

THAT's HIM. A recent article in "GolfWorld" magazine indicated that he's really attempting to tone down his temper, but I've heard many ,many things that indicate he's a real arrogant bastage.

OTOH - look at Ryan Moore from UNLV - he's very confident, has a very professional and courteous demeanor, and he's supremely talented. Moore shows that you can be confident, maybe somewhat cocky, but yet professional and courteous to your fellow players, fans, and sponsors. Everything I've ever heard about Levin is that he's a JERK.

I heard some stuff about that too. If I were the PGA tour, I'd kick people off who acted like that, and never have them back!

OK and maybe he doesn't want to be "popular". It isn't High School he's in. It's his job. He's an athlete, not an entertainer. He gets respect. Respect from people that realize "being popular" is a farce.
