LOL. I guess I haven't exactly been very forthcoming about my position, either. My position is I hope she makes the cut. I think it would be a great way for the PGA Tour to start the season and even better for Michelle. The state of Hawaii would definitely be up in arms over it. Unfortunately, I don't think she will make the cut. I just think that last year, she could go out with very little expectations. Nobody knew what to expect and most probably expected her to miss the cut. This year will be a little different.
Is that good for you league? I hope so, cause that probably isn't my final answer. JK.
Since your an aspiring politician, I expect a press release from you...after the fact...saying, A:you knew all along she would make the cut. B: You didn't think she would make the cut. C: Both of the above!
Allen, if she turned pro now, where would she play? The LPGA has an 18 yr old age limit and although they have made an exception or two for 17 year old high school grads, I sincerely doubt they would give an exemption to a 15 year old.
Besides, I don't think her parents would allow it and she is still a minor. Believe me, win or lose, make a PGA cut or not, her marketability will just continue to rise because she is being very well advised PR-wise! LOL
The she can get sponsorships into 8 tournaments a year. She plays 8 LPGA events a year and she could take 8 exemptions to the PGA tour if she wanted to. She could also go though monday qualifying. She could play a full schedual if she wanted to. Plus I am shure here parents are getting sick of having to pay for round trips to places like Michigan and California.Plus you know that the LPGA is trying to keep their excitment in for this girl to come up.
Hey, I could be a politician if I want to when I get older. I have what it takes, but since you want an answer, I am predicting hereforth that she will miss by two strokes.
Is that good for you league? I hope so, cause that probably isn't my final answer. JK.
Dave you gotta be carefull with your stances on issues. You don't want people calling you a flip-floper.
Really. Some of us (and my good people, I cannot name anyone for fear of offending a member of this august body), are know to be quite picky about such matters!
JK everyone. I couldn't resist.

Sounds like political double-speak to me! You've got the makings kid!
