I'm sorry it had to be asked too, but look at the poster who originally made the poll, look at his status now, and then make a conclusion about his standing as a representative of we Americans at GR. Plus the poll was 22-4 in favor of the Euro tour being stronger, that's a pretty good rejection of the notion that the Nationwide Tour is anywhere near the quality of the European Tour
I would say comparisons of the European tour to the PGA tour are more relevant than comparisons to the nationwide tour.
The PGA is the stronger of the two, but I think the European tour is closer to the PGA in a positive way than it is the the natiowide in a negative way. Dont know if that makes sense but there you go.
While the Nationwide Tour has many up an coming young players, the European Tour has many more established world ranked players. The PGA Tour is a cut above the European Tour in top to bottom quality (in no small part because of the number of European players with PGA Tour cards) and the European Tour is another cut above the Nationwide Tour. With the influx of the best European players opting to play primarily on the PGA Tour, the PGA Tour is widening the gap between itself and the European Tour in terms of quality of play.
