Looks like he/she made it through, finishing in a tie for 9th despite a 77 on the final day. Let the media circus (at least for a few weeks or until he/she wins an event) begin.
Now that link brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "german engineering" amazing what you can do with a nip here and a tuck there. Wonder where he/she would fit in a mixed event?
I know that women have had access to areas where men are undressed, but I believe when the "towel is on the other cheek (so to speak) there is always a separate room set up for handling interviews. Does anyone have info to the contrary?
The women are granted access to the men's locker rooms because the male reporters are allowed in there. I don't think that there are any reporters allowed in the womens locker rooms. I could be wrong, but if only male reporters were excluded I think that we would have heard about it. We're only talking about female hoops (which gets far too much coverage ... around here anyway, IMHO) when it comes to sports where you'd find that sort of scenario.

Now I remember reading something to that effect back when female reporters were first granted the same access to locker rooms as male reporters. Women's tennis and more recently woman's basketball have avoided the issue by not allowing any reporters in the female locker rooms.
I still think that men should be allowed in women locker rooms. Its kinda like the Augusta issue. Men with men, women with women. If women want to go in the men's locker room, then the men should go in the women's locker room. It is only fair.
Personally, I think that the "female at birth" rule should apply in sports. It's just not fair for the other women that the genetically born male competes against them...this "he" girl is cheating...

Well said, the bone structure/muscle mass does give the male of the species an inherent advantage to start off with ( sorry ladies ) . Of course that doesn't mean this person is going to blitz the field, but I do see it as an unfair advantage over other players........maybe if they legalize steriods for the real women in the tour

Cheers,

Her excuse is that the hormones she takes weaken her, reduce her muscle mass, etc. I don't really buy it too much, but, whatever. It's only a really big story if she wins or does really well.

That comment about estrogen hormones weakening her is not based on medical evidence...just an excuse...she know she can rip the ball with her "manly muscles"
Really. I'm sorry, but I'll bet that this person (I'm finding trouble calling it a he or a she, so with all of your permission, I'll just call it, it, cause that's what it is!) is any weaker that it was before. Throw it into it's own league or make it play on the PGA.
