Instead of hitting an 8I 203 yds over trees, maybe Seve would have bent a 4 or 5 iron around them. Different eras, different conditions, different equipment.

I still think Tiger is the best scrambler the game has ever seen, but throwing Seve into the mix sure is interesting.

I wonder how yesterday's golfers would have done with today's equipment and today's pristine golf course conditions?

Great fodder for debate, and isn't that one of the enjoyable things about this great game?

Yup. The thing about golf is that there really is no cut and dry answer. You can't just ask a question and expect the same answer from all sources. Doesn't work that way. But I agree with you. Tiger is the best scrambler I've ever seen.

Seve would still get wiped though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
