For me personally, it has to be the Phil-Ernie duel on the back nine at the Masters. What clutch shotmaking and exciting play, all capped off by the birdie at the last for Phil to finally get the monkey off his back. Amazing stuff, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, that's for sure!

I enjoyed that, and Mike Weir and Vijay battling it out for the Bell Candian Open, the outcome wasn't my favorite but watching the golf that day was awesome.
The way the tournament at Doral ended was good to.

I can't choose...I have several. Hamilton and Els coming down the stretch at the British, Goosen's putting clinic coming down the stretch at Shinnecock Hills, Parry's miracle at Doral, Tiger losing his #1 spot...but I guess the one that will probably stick in my memory the longest will be the left-handed pass of the green jacket from Weir to Mickelson. That and Lefty holding his little girl and saying "Daddy won. Did you see that? Daddy won." Man, I don't mind admittin' I was in tears.

I think last day in Augusta was fabulous. I also enjoyed watching last day in Royal Troon when some of the best players had options to win.

Monty holing his putt at the Ryder cup. Not a huge Monty fan, but it brought a tear to the eye.

The best moment for me of the 2004 season is not exactly a moment, but the entire Ryder Cup. The European team did themselves proud

The most entertained I was this season was when I went to a practice round at the Ryder Cup. I was sitting on the 11th or 12 hole (a short par three) and the European team was going by. Well the first three players hit the green and all of them were pretty tight to the hole and then it was Monty's turn to hit. He first flew the back fo the green, then he changed clubs and came up short in a bunker. Then he hit another ball and it was to about 20 feet and everyone was chanting RELOAD! RELOAD! So he droped another one and hit it to about 5 feet and everyone chanted RELOAD agian and he just laughed.

I guess I'd have to go with Phil's back nine at Augusta - I thought Weir winning the Masters was tense (I'm expat canadian BTW), but this year was even tenser.

Hal Sutton's face at the end of the first day of the Ryder Cup. Looked like a man facing his fifth divorce and set of alimony payments.

Don't forget when he forgot how many kids he had when he was speaking during the opening ceremonies...

You just knew Sutton was in for a long week when he couldn't remember how many kids he's had with his "current" wife. He stumbled on the correct number during his speech at the Opening Ceremonies!

Nice to see you take such pride and joy in other peoples' failures.
