You have a point there. :nodsmiley In that case, put me down for $20 (US dollars of course) on Michelle Wie to win the 2015 Masters!

Yes Michelle Wie and her green skirt. That would be worth the $20.

My sentimental favorite would be Greg Norman...if he gets an invite.

You ain't kidding, League! Way too early for Masters picks.

But Augusta National does tend to produce similar leader boards, year-in and year-out, simply because that course/tournament favors the guys who can hit the ball very high and land it as softly as possible, with backspin. Furthermore, no other major rewards course knowledge and experience more.

Consequently, and especially in this current era, we're seeing guys like Phil, Tiger, Ernie and Vijay making regular appearances in the Masters' top ten. They make for great picks to win The Masters any year.

As for Greg Norman receiving a special invitation....I wouldn't hold my breath.

I think Harrington will have a solid showing. He was up there on the leader board last year wasn't he. I think he had an ace it 17 or 16.

Padraig definitely has the game to make an impact - either at the Masters or the US Open - he's long of the tee, longer than most people think, is pretty accurate, and has a nice high ball flight. He's a decent putter too, and has a good temperament. I reckon he will break through this season.

He had an ace last year on the last par 3, in the next group Triplett followed it with another ace!

Youd probably get good odds on him finishing second in both those events.

Having professional status is out of the question, (Unless I win some fabulous prize at an outing between now and then. ) so I'd have to play as an amateur. I find that in tournament play I only focus on my game, not what the competition is doing, so if there is no one else entered it wouldn't affect me at all. The greatest part is that I'd be playing Augusta, and since there's no one else entered, I'd be a Master's Champion!......Hootie, I wear a 44 regular! and please make sure Phil makes it on time to the Butler cabin!

Oh yeah, some of you members better start being nicer to me (especially you girlgolfa ) or I won't invite you to play any practice rounds (now that I also have a lifetime membership) at Augusta national with me!

BTW You can bet I won't be askin' "critter cookin'" ForgedRbest to prepare the Champion's Dinner!

To tell you the truth, I'm actually quite surprised that Padraig has yet to win on the PGA TOUR...or in a major championship. He's better than that.

He has won on US soil, he won the target in 2002.

He had seconds this year at the players and another to sergio in a playoff but I cant remember where.

Adam Scott would be my outside pick.

Where do you go to bet on golf and how does the betting work?
