The cream usually comes to the top for big money tourneys and majors...Goosen is one of those guys that is quite often in the hunt at the majors. He doesn't seem
particularly strong through the green but imo he has just about the creamiest putting stroke out there and it seems to get laser-like at times. I fully expect to see him on the leaderboard at Augusta.
I'm watching the third round at Doral and Tiger has just driven a par 4...what an awesome athlete...didn't look like his back was hurtin' on that one! Tiger is coming back on form and should be ready for the Masters as well.

Me too.
I wasn't ready in December to commit and, yes, a lot can happen between now and the Masters but having seen the consistent caliber of play from Mickelson this year I have to say that he has as good or better chance than anyone to win it again. I think he has really found something in his game and has risen to the next level, whatever
that is.
And I haven't even mentioned Ernie and Vijay but that doesn't mean I'm not considering them.
Any one of these guys, on any given day, could beat the rest but usually it is the one that is "peaking" at the time and/or playing/putting the most consistently that comes out on top. So my early picks are:
Phil
Tiger
Retief
Ernie
On the Euro side I'll give Darren and Padraig outside chances.
not snubbin' Vijay...he'll be in there somewhere I'm sure.
All conjecture anyway.
At any rate it promises to be a Masters to remember.
