Masters Champions Dinner?

If you won the Masters what would you serve at dinner? I was just wondering after the other Masters thread.
I would serve Spagetti and Meatballs with a nice Italian Salad and finish it off with some Cream de Minth Cake and some deffinate

Fun one to think about - right now I'd settle for the chance to watch a practice day at Augusta National.

But if it happened... there would be beer I guess, and right now I am going to go for a lovely hot curry - chicken jalfrezi, mushroom rice, popadoms, sag aloo, naan bread. And beer.

Champions Dinner is on the Tuesday isn't it? If it was Wed night you would probably have to skip the beer.

Okay, sweetie, confessing my ignorance here!!! I know what mushroom rice is and of course, am familiar with beer. What are the other menu items????

If I was doing the dinner, it would be a Maryland Crab Cake & blackened Filet Mignon entree, with sides of roasted redskin potatos, asparagus w/bernaise sauce, a caesar salad topped with steamed shrimp, and strawberry pie dessert. Coffee & liquers, of course, to settle the tummy!

I know what those are, as we frequently eat Indian food, but I can't quite place them specifically. I know I've had chicken jalfrezi, popadoms, naan, etc., but just don't remember exactly what they are, and I don't want to tell you something wrong.

As for your suggestions, sounds awesome. I love everything you mentioned.

I'd be content with serving what you suggested at the Masters dinner.

Until I moved to Pittsburgh, I'd never heard of a perogie!!!! I am now a convert - have a little shop about a 1/2 mile away that makes them fresh all day long and fills them with a variety of stuff. You can order one of these and one of those, etc. My dinner about twice a month

Chicken jalfrezi is an Indian curry dish, made with chicken (obv), very spicy peppers, in a hot dry sauce.

Popadoms are crispy wafers similar to nachos, but thinner and highly flavoured. They are usually served as an appetiser, and you break them and dip them into a selection of chutneys.

Sag aloo - sag means spinach and aloo means potato, so sag aloo is a side dish with potato that is seasoned, with spinach in a flavoursome sauce.

Naan bread - a flat bread of similar consistency to a pancake, but not sweet - can be plain or have additional items in it such as meat (keema naan), raisins (peshwari naan).

This meal can have an effect similar to Montezuma's revenge (or Delhi Belly), so it would be a good one for knocking my main rivals out of the race as I attempt to defend my title!!

I would have a good old Cincinnati chili feast. All the Skyline 3-ways, 4 ways, cheese coneys and garlic bread you can eat. This may also have an adverse effect on my opponents.
