I said from the beginning that her golf skills weren't good enough to get her on the PGA Tour. Her Q-School entry was just a quick way of getting her name in the media and had nothing to do with her thinking she could play with the men.
I once agreed with those that said she was only chasing her "dream of playing on the PGA Tour." Is there any doubt in anyone's mind now, as to what she was really chasing? The $4,500.00 she spent on her Q-School entry fee was simply an investment in shameless self-promotion. More power to her if it works....but after seeing this, I don't ever want to hear her say anything about thinking she can play on the men's tour. What a scam!
When I viewed the intro I thought maybe it would talk about her dreams and stuff and then end...then when it went into the little spiel there after the intro about sponsorship I laughed out loud and figured that was the reason you'd linked to it league.
whats with the lightning in the intro?
lol @ the sponsor thing
The lightning for the intro is just bad design sense...someone had no idea what they were doing...kinda like if you notice in the flash movie when its at the end and the clouds are moving behind her....well the mountains are moving behind her to, doesn't make sense how mountains move.
It's all over. Isabelle Bieseigel shot 84-80-80-79 = 323.
She finished 78th and dead last, when two more players (6 total) WD before the start of the final round. Her 323 total was 35 strokes over par, 29 strokes behind the final qualifying spot and a whopping 50 strokes behind the winners.
She's a golfer and she undoubtably tried her best every shot. I commend her for that, at least she didn't quit like the last 3 players did before the last round. I'm not certain, but it's highly likely those 3 preferred a WD next to their name rather than the dubious distinction of being beaten by Bieseigel.
There are several points I would like to make. After her first round 84 she was quoted as saying it would be easy for her to shoot a 68 the next day and be right back in it. Her second round 80 made her look foolish after making that comment. She clearly destroyed any shred of credibility she had by assuming she had the talent to produce a 68 on that course, against that field. She may be ranked 79th on the LPGA money list, and the guys she played against here were probably not ranked in the top 1000 male players in the world. You can draw you own comparisons there.
Bieseigel obviously vastly over estimated her ability. There is nothing in her prior performances, or her stats, on the LPGA Tour that would remotely lend itself to making anyone think she ever had even the slightest chance to qualify for the PGA Tour. She should be embarrassed by her play. Especially after the statements she made prior to, and during, the tournament.
Maybe she learned something. She says "length and strength were not a factor" and says she will spend another $4,500.00 next year to try again. Length and strength are not a factor in golf? What game is she playing? There's nothing wrong with trying.....it's just silly to think you can play with the best players in the world when your talent says otherwise.
The bottom line here is.....Isabelle Bieseigel DOES have more money than talent and she proved it with her pitiful performance.

I enjoyed that thread...
But your right league, she was merely wasting her money. Makes you wonder if it was really her's to begin with...
In the future, perhaps after she is averaging 290 yards, she might actually look like someone who deserves to be on the PGA Tour. But then again.......

Wait, I though that the idea of this thread was that she payed the money to get good exposure to sponsors. If that was the case then maybe it wasn't soo much of a waste.
