In golf bets, do you only count it if your pick wins? Or is there a lesser pool of money for a Top-10 finish, for example? Because betting on golf seems kinda really risky to me.

Although, if I had bet on the 2005 season (I had predicted Tiger to win both the Masters and the Open Championship) I probably would have ended up quite a bit in the black.

You can place "each way" bets that pay reduced odds for lower placings. "Each way" is similar to a win-place-show bet...
