True, but his best is past-tense until he proves otherwise.

None of us can really state anything concrete until the upcoming season is half over. Then we'll have plenty to talk about. Either Tiger will be playing like the no other, or he won't. We just don't know at this point in time.

...just noticed that Vijay is 1000/1 to do the grand slam next year. Are those generous, or mean odds

Clive I know you have some sporting blood in you, so maybe throw a few quid on VJ and hope for a miracle! Besides, he might do it if he has the kind of year he had last year, and who would've thought he of all people (age 41 and all) would take the crown? No question he has the mind, the work ethic, and he's in great physical shape.
Still, the oddsmakers are no fools, he must be 1000-1 for a reason!

Maybe because it's nearly impossible to do? No one's ever done it, and only one has ever come close (professional-wise here). Vijay is wonderfully talented and driven, but it's still a long longshot that he can win all four majors in a year. I wouldn't bet on anyone ever doing it.

TW v. VS

Moot point-who has the better career overall-VJ only has one big season-so what-TW has a whole career in less than 10 years! C'mon, do the math people!!! What's more important, CAREER or season? I say CAREER!!!!
