Todd Hamilton won the Open wearing a Taylor Made R7 cap and a TM bag - he plays Mizuno irons. The only TM club in his bag was the driver, not an R7!!

Very often you see in magazines the breakdown of what tournament winners were playing that week - so often it says Titleist prototype irons...

I believe many of them have close ties to the industry. TourSpec is based overseas and many of the pictures you see is Japanese Spec. (you cannot get it retail here). Many of the stuff you see is tour stuff made for the tour player.
