Thumbs up '05 us open

recently i was at the no. 2 course for the first time. this course is probably one of the best kept courses if not the best kept course in the states (aside from augusta). not only is the course in great shape, but the landscaping all around the entire premesis is breathtaking. i ate at the pinehurst hotel restaraunt and was a little skeptical paying 30 bucks for a buffet, but it was worth every penny. if any one has a chance to go there, do it. not to mention this is without a doubt the very best public course on earth. the 300 dollar green fee is worth being able to say you played the best... check it out
