Maybe their pride will kick in sometime when they realize they've gotten their behinds handed to them in four of the last five Ryder Cups and it took a miracle comeback to avoid it being a 5-5?

That was poorly worded on my part. It was meant as an example of the mindset of some of the American players as oposed to the European players who just want to win the event.
