I don't think you turn pro unless you are interested in the money. Otherwise you would stay put as an amateur.

League, I wouldn't call it "golf for sport." I like to call it "golf for FUN." Sure, sometimes it's not fun for all of us on a particular hole or holes, but the overall experience is fun for pretty much every amateur.

Care to show us one example of VJ being "against basic women's rights?"

You may not like the guy but making up stuff and passing it off as fact doesn't fly.

I'll gladly show you an example. He doesn't think women should be allowed to play golf with men in golf tournaments. That is a basic right of ANYONE in my opinion.

Since when did playing golf become a basic right?

LOL league. I think golf should be treated just like other professions. Women should be allowed to work in the profession among men if they are qualified.

wazman, I enjoy watching Vijay play too. I just don't like it when he's beating Tiger or Phil. I don't know why, but it seems like Vijay doesn't take out Sergio very often. Sergio is on the top of my most hated golfers list. Actually, he's the ONLY one on the list. I dislike Vijay off the course, but on the course I respect him. Sergio is just a whiny little baby and his arrogance makes Tiger look like the most humble person in the world (and that's saying something!). Sergio =

Qualified being the key word here. Let me know when you find a woman "qualified" to play on the PGA Tour. So far all they've "qualified" to do is be a ticket seller and a media side show. :nodsmiley

She only played in a handful of tournaments, and never made much of a showing, but it was still a good answer. By the way, I am in her home town, and right around the corner from the museum.

She never "qualified" for PGA Tour playing privileges either.
