Isn't there a couple of "someones" conspicuously absent from this list?
Well, I was more looking at the groupings of 3. I guess Tiger and Stephen Ames could be good - but I thought these were some of the strongest pairings there
Well, Harrington's off to a great start. He's only 1 back thru 6. Sometimes, news like that can work both ways. Sometimes, it motivates a player to win for their father (or mother, etc.). We'll see what happens as the week plays out.
Steve Jones is on fire. He started on the back nine, and after six straight pars, he birdied 16-17-18, quite a feat, parred 1, and has birdied 2-3-4-5. Seven under for the last eight holes.
Looks like Luke Donald set the bench so far for now at six under. But that might not last for long if Jones keeps it up. That's pretty impressive But it's also good to see Phil get back to four under after the double on the 8th
Go Zack Johnson, an Iowa boy who graduated from my alma mater. He's hanging tough, not a long player but the guy can putt and seems to have the mental toughness needed.
