Mother Nature strikes again

Play has been suspended at the Players Championship, and if you look at the radar, it doesn't look too pretty for them playing anytime soon. Some very strong storms in north florida. To make the situation worse, it could rain there all weekend according to forecasts, so the finish may not be until Monday, or maybe Tuesday if forecasts hold true.

And to add insult to injury, a couple tornados have just been spotted headed near the Jacksonville vicinity, according to the weather channel. Hopefully, no damage is done to the golf course.

And the worst part is, a Monday or Tuesday finish will postpone the Tavistock Cup at Isleworth!!!

Well, play's just been called for the day. I thought they should have played, but the debate was that because 21 players already started with no lift, clean and place, that the rest of the players that played today would have to play with no lift, clean and place, and the course is too wet for that to happen.

Here's why I don't like the move. The weather forecast tomorrow, Sunday and Monday does not look good. This front will be hanging around the same area the next couple days. Dare I say they could be sitting on Monday afternoon stuck in the middle of round 2 or 3. This could be a VERY long week.
